About Dr. Lewis

 

Dr. Tim Lewis, Psy.D, is a licensed clinical psychologist who has been treating people living with complex trauma and PTSD for 14 years. Dr. Lewis earned his master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. He is a member of the San Francisco Psychotherapy Research Group and past board member of the San Francisco Psychological Association.

As a trauma survivor and writer, Dr. Lewis brings a unique blend of science, art, philosophy, and personal experience to help his clients heal from old wounds and find joy and fulfillment. Raised in Kansas City, he now lives with his husband and daughter in a forest filled with giant redwoods near San Francisco.
